The Avaya Aura voicemail system requires a password to login. Receiving three password login failures for the system will lock you from your mailbox. If you have locked your voicemail login please call the IT Helpdesk at 325-HELP (4357). Please provide the number for the phone in question and your name. An access reset request will then be submitted for your phone. This reset can be performed without charge.
If you are a new user for your phone and a previous mailbox is still present on the line, you will need to contact OU IT to get it updated to list you as the new owner of the phone. Please call us at 325-HELP (4357) and provide the number for the phone in question and your name. Please let us know if you wish to maintain the existing mailbox, or delete it and create a new one under you account. Maintaining the existing mailbox and requesting a password reset can be performed without charge. If you wish to wipe out the old mailbox and create a new one, there will be a $10 programming change charge.
